THE Kenya Livestock Technologists Association (KELITA) will hold its farmers’ field day and third scientific conference from September 10- 12.
This year’s theme is appropriate livestock technologies on smallholder farms to enhance household incomes and food security.
The field day will be held on September10th at Benjamin Mbuthia soldier farm in Gitaru, Kikuyu Division , Kiambu district and will feature exhibitions by companies such as Twiga Chemical industries, Ngecha feeds, NGOs such as Land o’ Lakes, Fitica Kenya and the Pan African Campaign on Episetics.
The scientific conference will be held at the Agricultural Information Centre (AIC) based in KARI, Nairobi.
Participants in the scientific conference will include farmers from Kikuyu and Limuru, policy makers from the Department of Veterinary Services and stakeholders.
